As a couple therapist I help clients make their relationship strong and resilient. In order to get there we need to be honest with ourselves and with our partners. We need to learn to communicate effectively. We need to become experts in ourselves, and in our partner. We also need to address and heal old wounds and broken promises. This takes work, but it's worth it. By improving your relationship you create a foundation of wellness and resilience for yourself, your partner, and your family.
I have training in a number of modalities of couple therapy including PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focussed Therapy), and Hakomi with Couples (an experiential somatic approach). This training helps me help you create a secure functioning relationship with your partner - a relationship where you both win, and where you are stronger together.
